Memories and Recollections

This year was Sue & David’s choice and we had superb accommodation at The Hare & Hounds Hotel, Tetbury

One the highlight of the gathering was a visit to the gardens at Highgrove, Prince Charles’ residence, very much enjoyed by us all.

The following day the walking group did a round trip to Tetbury, route shown next.

 

The next are photos taken during the walk.

It was probably at this point that Annie’s hip started to give trouble but she continued to lunch time after which she was “rescued” by Sue, David, Yvonne & Ken & was able to visit Chavenage with them.

The non-walkers visited Newark Hall in the morning to find it suffering from flood damage therefore not up and running, but were delighted by their afternoon visit to Chavenage; Annie had joined them by this time.

On the final evening, Wilma & Willie’s forthcoming Golden Wedding was celebrated in advance,  many thanks to Yvonne & Ken for organising the cake.
