2021 Talbot Hotel, Malton, September 20th-23rd

This was the 26th gathering of the group and was the Laundon’s choice. It had been arranged for May 2020 but the Covid pandemic caused deferral until late 2021.

We assembled in the afternoon of the Monday in glorious sunshine, indeed the whole gathering was blessed with excellent weather

On the Tuesday the walkers took a 4 to 5 mile easy trek from the hotel, this is us jay walking across a busy road.

Ken, Yvonne, Sue & David meanwhile spent the day firstly browsing Malton & then went to Nunnington Hall for lunch (many wasps) then they visited Castle Howard Garden Centre & had coffee & cake.

When planning this reunion, one of the main attractions was Castle Howard but sadly they were closed to the public because of a large filming commitment , a disappointment to us all.
