2024, Philipburn Hotel, Selkirk, 14th to 17th May

This year was Wilma & Willie’s choice & we stayed at the Philipburn Hotel, Selkirk. It was our 29th gathering & our 30th year of meeting ( 2020 event not possible because of Covid)

The walkers took a trek from the hotel towards the town & then alongside the river Ettrick returning via a mill lade.

For those that didn’t walk, the attractions were Traquair House, Scotlands oldest inhabited house & Abbotsford, home of Sir Walter Scott.

On the following day Brian B & Brian L took the hills again, walking up Corby Linn to pass Tibby Tamson’s grave & on to Harehead Hill.
